Our collection of glass tank vases are available in clear glass, black or mirrored glass finish in a good range of sizes. Tank vases are versatile for use in the home or for function and wedding table decoration. The modern design of tank vases, like cube vases and fishbowl or bubble ball vases, has established them a place as firm favourites with modern brides for wedding reception table decoration. The tank shape makes it ideally suited to tightly packed lower arrangements. While their solid and sturdy base gives total stability in use and no fear of them becoming top heavy or being accidentally knocked over. The clear glass tanks can be filled with decorative dried material such as bear grasses, decorative florist wire, feathers, stones and crystals, coloured sand, shells and other decorative aggregates instead of, or as well as fresh cut flowers or silk blooms to hide the stems.
Suitable for displaying fresh garden flowers from the garden, artificial and dried arrangements or simply stood alone as a modern and attractive ornamental piece. They look good used in any room in the house. Tank vases are the perfect shape to display on bookshelves and they look equally good whether filled with just a couple of giant flower heads such as hydrangeas, or with masses of tightly bunched roses. For maximum effect, always cut flower stems short so they are not visible above the rim of the tank vase and pack the tank vase as fully as you can to completely fill it. Rows of three or four or even more, arranged along the middle of a long, rectangular table look particularly eye-catching.
Mirrored tank vases hide stems, florist wire and floral foam so require no other materials to be used in the vase for this purpose. The mechanics of the arrangement are not visible. Enabling you to make good use of uneven length stemmed blooms that might otherwise be discarded. Table jewels and silk petals scattered around the base will be reflected in the mirror finish adding to the display, as will the light from nearby containers with tea light or Floralites. A grouping of three mirror tank vases of different height makes for a really stunning large centrepiece table arrangement.
