Amaryllis, commonly known as known as belladonna lily, Jersey lily, naked lady, is a small genus of flowering bulbs in the Amaryllidaceae family, native to the western cape of South Africa. A classic winter holiday flower, but available year round, they look wonderful in tropical style arrangements. Available in many beautiful shades. With their multiple blooms, simply arranging a bunch of them in a vase can make an incredible statement and easily cover a lot of space. They are attractive on their own or when added to other flowers. Mix with blossom branches or pussy willow to create a fuller, more generous arrangement.
